What Do We Avoid?
- Grasses or what we call grains
- Meat especially processed ones
- Eggs
- Dairy (don't worry there is vegan dairy!)
- Grain oils, polyunsaturated, trans fats, saturated or animal fats such as butter or lard are not used
- Avoid cooking with any saturated fats
- Avoid cooking added sugars such as honey (add small amounts after cooking)
- Avoid over-heating oils (add small amounts after cooking)
- Avoid processed foods, processed sugar, corn syrup, etc.
- Avoid grilling, broiling, frying and dry roasting, basically anything that can overcook the edges
