What Do We Avoid?

  • Grasses or what we call grains
  • Meat especially processed ones
  • Eggs
  • Dairy (don't worry there is vegan dairy!)
  • Grain oils, polyunsaturated, trans fats, saturated or animal fats such as butter or lard are not used
  • Avoid cooking with any saturated fats
  • Avoid cooking added sugars such as honey (add small amounts after cooking)
  • Avoid over-heating oils (add small amounts after cooking)
  • Avoid processed foods, processed sugar, corn syrup, etc.
  • Avoid grilling, broiling, frying and dry roasting, basically anything that can overcook the edges
